Dr. Eveann Lovero, Professor and Department Chair of Business Administration at Lewis University, is using an e-portfolio approach to teaching her Strategic Management courses. Students will create a vanity URL and obtain webhosting through Bluehost. Bluehost provides web hosting solutions to millions of customers, individuals and businesses. Students will blog their homework to establish a digital reputation because basically, you are who Google says you are. Students will create Twitter Handles (user names) and micro blog their homework (blog posts) to Twitter. They will also set up LinkedIn profiles and send their homework (blog posts) to that account. At the end of the semester when they Google their names, all of this work will show up.
With the advancements in technology, students will only benefit from this experience. It will open them up for future involvement in using social media.
